JAKARTA: PT eTrading Securities invested US$400,000 to develop an online trading facility for mobile users. The newly-launched facility offers the similar speed as personal computers.President Director of eTrading, Shin Jae Won, said such trading application has been developed since six months ago and is relatively different to the previous application of the securities company.This mobile application turns out to be the most comprehensive application at the moment. We do have our previous online trading facility, yet, we replaced it with this new and faster application, he said to the press this afternoon.He further added that this program may grant its customers real time access to information and direct transaction order regardless where they are.The users of smart-phone (Blackberry), android-based phone, iPhone and iPad may benefit from the online facility.This application includes automatic order, done alarm notification and fund transfer, a facility enabling the customers to instruct direct cash withdrawal.The Daewoo Securities subsidiary as a matter of fact partners with PT Telkomsel to launch an unlimited online trading facility, namely Paket Etrading Telkomsel. Such facility enables and eases any stock transactions via mobile phone using eTrading Mobile application. (T02/NOM)
