JAKARTA: Cosmetics maker PT Martina Berto Tbk targets to pocket IDR62 billion net income by 2011 that is higher 69.12% than expected last years income by Idr33.66 billion.Financial Director of Martina Berto, Markus Handiwidjaja confirmed that the gain is amid estimated sales growth by 18.81% to IDR682 billion from its projection in the end of 2010 by IDR574 billion.In the meantime, the companys capital expenditure (capex) is sourced from fund of its initial public offering (IPO) as much as IDR135 billion.Handi asserted that the capex will be benefited totally to construct a factory in Cikarang requiring fund of IDR82 billion and the remaining of IDR53 billion will be used to add capacity and to modernize machines.Marketing Director of Martina Berto, Samuel Pranata added that by next year, the company also plans to open 20 stores in domestic and other countries. Hopefully, the stores could contributes 10% for sales, while for now, the stores has already contributed sales by 5%.Around 10-15 stores will be built in Singapore, Thailand, Kuala Lumpur, and Australia. Then, three-five stores will be constructed in Indonesia. Actually, we already have 20 stores or more in Indonesia, and Singapore is our first target expansion to open stores, he explained.(t01/wiw)
