Adhi Karya starts Casablanca's highway construction project

JAKARTA: A state-owned contractor, PT Adhi Karya Tbk, won the first assignment of highway and bridge construction project valuing IDR214.99 billion in two years. The highway and bridge will connect Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang.In the disclosure submitted to PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today, the project of Jakarta Public Works Agency is estimated to take 630 days to complete.Corporate Secretary of Adhi Karya Kurnadi Gularso confirmed that the project will take place on Jl. Dr. Satrio, along Casablanca-Jl. Sudirman.After winning the project early this month, the company has started digging the road divider, which is actually the green lane around Mall of Ambassador.The ADHI-coded shares today continued its correction by 2.38% or IDR20 to close at IDR820 this afternoon, creating a market capitalization of IDR1.47 trillion.
