IDR200 billion for cruise jetty project in Karangasem

KARANGASEM, Bali: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono promised to allocate IDR200 billion derived from central government to support the construction of a cruise jetty at Amuk Tanah Ampo Manggis Port, Karangasem, Bali.The cruise jetty, projected to be the biggest cruise port in Indonesia, is postponed due to fund shortage of about IDR200 billion.I will fulfill Mr. I Wayan Geredegs request [Regent of Karangasem]. The construction fund will be my priority, as he said.President conveyed the message in response to Gerebegs request on tourism funding facility at the opening ceremony of Karangasem Broodstock Center in Karangasem, Bali, today.The President hoped the project to proceed since it can bring positive contribution to Balis economic development.Meanwhile, Bali Governor I Gede Mangku Pastika assured that President will give approval to IDR200 billion funding.
